# Connect Google Calendar

If your life lives in Google Calendar, connect it once and the two calendars stay in step: Rezzy bookings appear in Google, and anything busy in Google blocks your Rezzy slots.

## Connect it

1. Go to **Settings → Calendar**.
2. Click **Connect Google Calendar**.
3. Sign in with Google and allow the calendar access.

Done. The connection stays live; there's nothing to re-run.

## What the sync does

- **Rezzy → Google**: every booking becomes a Google Calendar event, and updates or cancellations follow automatically. Your whole day is visible in one place.
- **Google → Rezzy**: any busy event on your Google Calendar removes those times from your booking page. Dentist at 2pm Thursday? Nobody can book you at 2pm Thursday.

That second direction is the double-booking killer: personal life and studio calendar can't collide.

## Good to know

- Only busy/free status is read for slot blocking. Mark a Google event "Free" and it won't block bookings.
- One connection covers the studio; connect the Google account whose calendar reflects your real availability.
- Disconnect anytime from the same page. Existing bookings keep their events; new ones just stop syncing.
