Description: A one-off email blast to a chosen audience, with merge tags, a test send, scheduling, and results you can read.
Updated: 2026-08-08

Autopilot runs itself; a campaign is you, deciding to say something now. New opening in the schedule, a seasonal special, a heads-up about new hours.

## Compose

1. Go to **Marketing → Emails → Campaigns** and start a new one.
2. Write the subject and body. Merge tags personalize each copy: `{{first_name}}`, `{{business_name}}`, and `{{booking_link}}` (which becomes each client's tracked link to your booking page).
3. Pick the audience:
   - **Everyone with marketing consent**: the full list.
   - **Clients due back**: past your rebooking window with nothing booked. The money audience.
   - **Away 6+ months**: the deep win-back list.
   - **Tagged clients**: any tag you've applied, like "bridal" or "imported".
The picker shows exactly how many clients each audience reaches right now.
4. **Send a test to myself** first. Always.

## Send it

Send now, or schedule it for a date and it goes out at your usual send time. Drafts save as you go, so composing and sending can be different sittings.

By default the campaign respects your email spacing, skipping anyone who got a marketing email too recently; the results page tells you how many were skipped, and they're skipped, not lost.

## Read the results

Every sent campaign keeps its page: how many received it, who clicked through, who booked within a week, and the full recipient list, each name linking to the client. The activity feed's "sent the campaign" line links straight there.

*Sent, clicked, booked, skipped, and exactly who received it.*

One good campaign a month to **Clients due back** is the highest-return ten minutes in this whole app. Reuse your best ones as [templates](/guides/save-and-reuse-email-templates).
