Description: Add what you sell, how long it takes, and what it costs. Or paste your website address and let Rezzy fill it in for you.

A service is what a client picks when they book: the name, how long it takes, and what it costs. Nothing else works until you have at least one, because there is nothing for a client to choose.

You can add them by hand, or paste your website address and let Rezzy read them off the page you already wrote.

## The fast way: from your website

If your prices are already on your website, do not type them twice.

1. Go to **Settings → Services** and choose **New ▾ → Import from my website**.
2. Paste the page that lists what you do. If your prices live on their own page, paste that one: Rezzy reads a single page, not your whole site.
3. Click **Read my website**. It takes a few seconds.
4. Check every line. Untick anything you do not want, fix anything that is not quite right, then click **Add these to my studio**.

Nothing is saved until you press that button. Your existing services are never touched, so if you already added one by hand, it stays exactly as it is.

### What Rezzy will not do

**It will not guess a price.** If your page says "from $95" or "price on consultation", the price box comes back empty, and an empty price shows on your booking page as "price on consultation". A wrong price on a live booking page is worse than no price, so Rezzy leaves it to you.

**It will not invent your hours.** If your site does not publish opening hours, none are drafted. You set those under **Settings → Availability**.

Some sites keep their prices inside an image, or load them only after the page opens. Rezzy cannot read either. If nothing comes back, nothing is changed and you can add services by hand.

## By hand

1. Go to **Settings → Services** and choose **New ▾ → Add a service**.
2. Give it the name your clients would recognize. "Cut and colour", not "CC-01".
3. Set the length. This is the time the slot takes on your calendar, so include the parts where the client is sitting with foils on.
4. Set the price, or tick **Price on consultation** if it depends.
5. Save.

Repeat for everything you sell. Most studios end up with somewhere between four and fifteen.

## Buffer time

Buffer is the gap after a service before the next client can book. Use it for the clean-down, the notes, and the breath.

A 60 minute service with a 15 minute buffer takes 75 minutes off your calendar but still shows as "60 min" to the client. They never see the buffer, they just cannot book into it.

## Turning a service off

Every service has an **Active** switch. Turning it off hides it from your booking page and keeps every past booking intact.

Use it for the seasonal thing you only offer in December, or the treatment you are quietly retiring. Delete a service only when it has no history you care about.

## Who performs what

If you have a team, every practitioner performs every service by default, including ones you add later. To narrow that down, open **Settings → Team** and untick the services someone does not do.

Clients then only see the practitioners who actually offer what they picked. See [Add team members](/guides/add-team-members).

## Deposits and prepayment

Each service carries its own protection setting: off, a deposit, or full prepayment. This is where you stop giving away your Saturday to people who do not turn up.

It is set per service, so your $40 fringe trim can stay open while your four-hour balayage asks for a deposit. See [Take deposits or full payment](/guides/take-deposits-or-full-payment).

## What to do next

Once you have services, set your hours under **Settings → Availability**, then [set up your booking page](/guides/set-up-your-booking-page) and send the link to a client.
