# Turn on dark theme

Checking tomorrow's bookings from the couch at 10pm shouldn't light up the room. Dark theme turns the whole dashboard dark: every page, every dialog, the sign-in screen included.

By default, Rezzy simply follows your device. If your phone switches to dark mode at sunset, Rezzy switches with it, and back again in the morning. You only need the steps below if you want to pin it one way.

## Switch it by hand

1. Click your **initials** in the top-right corner.
2. Flip the **Dark theme** switch.

The change is instant. No reload, no sign-out.

On a phone, open the **☰ menu** instead; the **Dark theme** switch sits in the bottom row next to **Settings**.

## From Settings

1. Go to **Settings → Profile**.
2. Under **Appearance**, flip the **Dark theme** switch.

Once you've made a choice by hand, Rezzy keeps it and stops following the device. To hand control back, click **Match my device** in the same spot; the link only appears while a manual choice is active.

## Good to know

- **The choice stays on each device.** Dark on your phone for evenings, light on the front-desk machine under salon lighting; each remembers its own setting.
- **Your clients never see it.** Your public booking page and the emails Rezzy sends always keep their light look, whatever you pick for yourself.
- **Billing keeps its gold.** The membership card and receipt on the Billing page stay their printed selves in either theme, like photographs on a dark desk.
