What the marketplaces cost you in a year
Marketplace platforms charge a subscription and then take a cut of every new client they send you. Put in three numbers you already know and see the yearly total.
The rates behind the maths
Taken from each platform's own published pricing, last checked August 6, 2026. Prices change, so check yours before making a decision on this page alone.
- Booksy
- $29.99/mo plus $20 per extra staff member. Boost: 30% of the first visit, minimum $10, capped at $100.
- Fresha
- $19.95/mo solo, $14.95 per member for teams. 20% of the first visit, minimum $6.
- Rezzy
- $29/mo plus $9 per seat, and Pro Unlimited caps it at $99. No commission, ever.
- StyleSeat
- $35/mo. New Client Connection: 30% of the first visit, capped at $50.
- Vagaro
- about $30/mo plus $10 per extra calendar, to seven. No marketplace commission.
- Commission applies only to clients the marketplace introduces, not to the regulars who already book with you. That is why the calculator asks for marketplace-found new clients rather than your whole calendar.
- StyleSeat also charges the client a $2.35 booking fee. It is left out here because the studio does not pay it, though your client does.
- Card processing is left out entirely. Every option charges roughly the same couple of percent, so it does not change the comparison.

Rezzy
Keep the clients you paid for
A marketplace fee buys one first visit. What turns that stranger into a regular is the reminder, the note about what they had done last time, and the nudge when they are overdue. Rezzy does all three for one flat price, pays into your own Stripe or Square, and never markets to your clients.
No credit card required. Free plan, no commission on any booking.
